Wow! May was a crazy busy month. Are you ready? It's a long one!
Cole finished his first year of preschool and will continue next year going 4 (yes 4, hallelujah!) days a week. He learned most of his letters, how to write his name, and really just came out of his shell into this little social person we now know as Cole.
He also went on THREE field trips this month to the Treehouse museum, dinosaur park, and the playground. I was able to go on all three with him!
The day finally came! Bryce, 9 months, decided to take a bottle.
It was warm enough to pull out the pool and slip and slide so we had a water day with Kenz and Tyler!
We have another fish on our hands! Bryce absolutely loved the water and spent the day on his belly splashing and giggling.
The slip and slide was a big hit! Kenzie sat and cheered the boys on and snuck in to splash in between runs. (A word to the wise...don't use dish soap on your slip and slide. It kills your grass! Oops.)
We had a fun Memorial Day weekend with loads of cousins. They had a blast playing rock band, using the swingset, and driving the boys' Gator. The adults had a great time playing Super Mario Brothers on the DS! Sorry Shanna for getting you hooked!
It was impossible to get a good picture of 7 kids all under 6! Especially with Bryce beating on Kenzie!
Caden is playing T-Ball this year. He claims he loves it more than soccer because "you just stand there and don't have to run." Smart kid!
Caden graduated from Kindergarten! He's well on his way to first grade.
He also got to go on a field trip to the zoo this month. He rode the bus, got to pack a lunch and had a smashing time. But I had to take his word for it. He was more than happy to let me know he DIDN'T need me to come and chaperon.
Caden participated in his class talent show and he stole the show! What a talented kid!
We also...
- Finished up our driveway (it looks great!) and curbing/bark for our flowerbeds
- Planted 7 trees and 12 bushes and loads of flowers
- Pulled a million weeds (and counting) out of our vegetable garden
- Started eating our home grown strawberries (yummy!)
- Mowed our grass twice a week thanks to some excellent working fertilizer
I'm happy to say that Utah is beginning to feel like home, finally!
And if you made it through this, good for you! Cole had a hard time....

FUN! You have been BUSY! Good to catch up. Shanna
Hula hooping is an underrated talent! I tried to do it in Wal*Mart not too long ago....not as easy as it looks. Way to go Caden!
